2/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup margarine, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
12 oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

-Heat oven to 375. Mix thoroughly shortening, margarine, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
-Stir in remaining ingredients. 
-Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 mins.
