| sour cream and garlic mashed potatoes |

3 cups water
1 cup milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. basil
2-2/3 cups instant potato flakes
1/4 cup sour cream
1 green onion, optional

-Bring water to boil in medium saucepan; remove from heat.
Add milk, salt and garlic powder; stir.
-Add potato flakes, sour cream, and chopped green onion; mix well.
Cook on medium heat until heated through.
